Christelle Taraud

Doctor in history and member of the Research Center in 19th-Century History (Universities of Paris I and Paris IV).  Christelle Taraud directs three research seminars on gender, history of sexuality, and history of European colonisations at NYU in Paris and at the History Center of Sciences Po.  She is also the author of books on gender and on colonial and post-colonial history.

Docteur en Histoire et membre du Centre de recherches en histoire du XIXe siècle (Paris I/Paris IV). Elle dirige trois séminaires de recherche sur le genre, l’histoire de la sexualité et des colonisations européennes à NYU Paris et au Centre d’Histoire de Sciences Po. Elle est l’auteure de livres sur le genre et l’histoire coloniale et post-coloniale.
